				The Most Amazing Double Rainbow

I was in the pool yesterday and it was seriously overcast. It was even dropping a bit of rain here and there. Then I looked up towards the east and saw this most perfect rainbow. I could not get out of the pool fast enough as I was afraid I would miss this amazing opportunity. The sunset light only lasts a minute or two and that was what was producing the rainbow. It was so big that even at 11mm I could not capture the entire second rainbow.

Miss Lily Bean was asleep on the back of the couch and I happened to have my camera near by. So I picked it up and pointed it at her. Apparently she was not pleased with this and she yelled at me. As you can see I was not intimidated by this one and a half pound puppy with a big attitude and took the picture anyway. I am having some serious computer issues and have been since the beginning of May. My laptop which is what I use for my photos has been back and forth to the shop twice since May 5. Each time I get it back there is more wrong with it than when I sent it. Well, I got it back today and I was all excited. I figured third times the charm .... WRONG. I plug it in... turn it on and my monitor stays BLACK. Not even a flicker of light and this time they had it for a month. So I have to send it back yet again. Much to my dismay my postings are still going to be sporadic for a bit as the desktop doesn't always cooperate. I figured this was a fitting photo because it's pretty much how I feel. Just totally PISSED OFF at this whole computer thing. UGH!

There was a thunderstorm brewing up and this monster thunderhead came up out of the east. I just happened to have my camera out by the pool because if I had to go get my camera I never would have captured the shot. I took the photo … got out of the pool and the entire sky was dark gray and it was raining. Yes, it happens that fast.

At least when it's not thundering and lightning! This is The New Mexico Rattler which is located at Uncle Cliffs here in Albuquerque. I have never been on it but it has been voted one of the Top 25 Wooden Coasters	in the world. Isn't that a lovely grey sky? The thunder and lightning was spectacular.

This is the Sandia Peak Tram. It is the world's longest aerial tramway. From its base at the foot of Sandia Peak to the mountain's 10,378-ft peak, the tram travels a 2.7-mi round trip. This is also a jig back tramway, again the longest in the world. It's a really breath taking ride and I highly recommend it if you are ever in Albuquerque.
